iPresent Online is a new way of developing and managing online training. In designing and building our service, we set out to accomplish what all software companies intend: create well-designed, easy to use, feature rich software. With that as a given, here are some more concrete things we believe.

eLearning and community software:

1. People learn best informally and when they are encouraged and empowered to create content themselves.
2. Give people easy to use tools to create and share information and learning will happen.
3. Social networks and Web 2.0 technologies have changed the Internet and new services must reflect that fact.
4. The LMS is not dead, but if it ignores Social Learning concepts and tools it will be.
5. Organizations/companies need some level of control when training people.
6. Having some control and "managing" users/content/etc. is not a bad thing.

6. The right tool for the job is nice - but a well really well designed Swiss Army knife can sometimes get the job done better

iPresent Online is a new way of developing and managing online training. It is a system that eliminates the cruft of traditional Learning Management Systems while still preserving critical LMS features such as:
